Call us biased, but Service Technician Uriah Rugg is one of the most reliable, skilled, and dedicated professionals you will ever meet. It is no surprise that he was recently named our 2025 Gamechanger of the Year.
This recognition comes after an incredibly competitive year, where our Gamechanger Committee reviewed 100 nominations, identifying 60 different employees. From that impressive pool, five finalists emerged: Lorenzo Marin, Uriah Rugg, Jeremy Vittetoe, Aaron Reid, and Marcus Davis. Each finalist represents what we stand for at Bazooka Farmstar, but Uriah’s sustained excellence across all our core values set him apart.
Bring It: Delivering Exceptional Service Every Day
When we talk about “Bring It”—delivering exceptional service and value every day—Uriah doesn’t just meet that standard, he defines it. One voter captured it perfectly: “Uriah has always made sure the customer is running and gets what they need.” He has a vast working knowledge of machinery and is quick on his feet to fix things.

Bleed Bazooka: Working Hard and Owning It
Uriah takes pride in his work. It’s a pride thing. He works weekends. He takes on projects across all areas of the business. He drops what he’s doing to answer a service call and help a customer in need. As a service tech, he’s often on the road for extended periods, away from his family, putting in the extra hours that the job demands.
He goes on challenging trips to address unforeseen issues—often in less than favorable conditions—and consistently resolves them effectively. He’s thorough and detail-oriented, making sure the customer gets exactly what they need, and he brings valuable follow-up back to the plant to make us all better. When our dealers and customers need help, Uriah answers the call. And that means everything.
Be Safe: Safety is Our Priority
Uriah is often asked to work independently on large jobs that can be dangerous if the right safety precautions aren’t followed. He has a good eye for calling out unsafe practices—helping colleagues get proper equipment and always looking for safer ways to get the job done.
People trust him. One teammate said: “I can confidently say that he is safety-oriented and knowledgeable enough to recognize unsafe conditions. I trust him as a reliable source of information.”
Bigger Than Us: Family and Community Matter
Despite the demands of being on call and the time away from home that service work requires, Uriah makes time for what matters. He’s a devoted father and dedicated husband. He brings his son in the truck on days off just to spend time with him. He takes his family to rabbit shows, where he is also a mentor to the youth in the community.
