Trevor Rogers: Q2 Gamechanger Award Winner Embodies “Bleed Bazooka” Core Value

May 27, 2025

At Bazooka Farmstar, our core values aren’t just words on a wall—they’re principles brought to life through the daily actions of our team members. This last quarter, we’re proud to recognize Trevor Rogers as our “Bleed Bazooka” Core Value Award recipient, honoring his commitment to working hard and owning his responsibilities with unmistakable pride.

Finding His Path at Bazooka

Trevor’s journey to Bazooka Farmstar began just over three years ago, influenced by positive recommendations from family members who worked at the company. With a strong interest in agricultural industries, he found Bazooka to be a natural fit for his career aspirations.

What keeps him engaged and motivated? “Stay busy and those I work around make the day fun,” Trevor shares, highlighting the positive workplace culture that fosters both productivity and camaraderie.

Stepping Up When Needed Most

As both an Assembly Tech for Titan bars and recently transitioning into a Painter role, Trevor has demonstrated remarkable flexibility over his three-year tenure with the company. His nominator specifically highlighted how Trevor “has been going back and forth from Titan assembly to paint with no issues or poor attitude.”

What truly set Trevor apart this quarter was his initiative when his lead was out sick. Rather than waiting for direction, Trevor proactively stepped up in multiple areas, taking on additional responsibilities without being asked. This embodiment of the “Bleed Bazooka” spirit—tackling challenges head-on with ownership and pride—made him a standout candidate for this recognition.

Adaptability as a Strength

When asked about what behaviors led to his recognition, Trevor emphasized adaptability and reliability: “The biggest part is that I was trying to be adaptable and reliable. I go and ask what I can do to stay busy or to help around the business.”

He specifically noted that painting isn’t always a role everyone wants to take on, yet he approached it with willingness and dedication—a testament to his work ethic and team-first mentality.

Advice for Future Gamechangers

For colleagues aspiring to similar recognition, Trevor offers straightforward advice: “Work hard and ask the right questions to help go above and beyond. Also, make sure quality is in mind and take a step above to do things before it’s too late. Comes down to working hard and helping others, just like you would want them to come and help you.”

This practical wisdom encapsulates the collaborative, proactive approach that makes our team successful.

Beyond the Workplace

Outside of work, Trevor prioritizes quality time with his fiancée and two-year-old daughter, enjoying trips to the park and family gatherings.

As part of his award, Trevor selected Paws and More Animal Shelter in Washington, Iowa as his nonprofit beneficiary. His reasoning reveals his compassionate nature: “Animals there didn’t get to choose where they are, so giving a donation to help them until they get adopted is a nice way to do something until good fortune comes their way.”

Join Our Team

When asked why others should consider Bazooka Farmstar as an employer, Trevor highlights the supportive environment: “Co-workers and all make it a great place to work, and although there are daily routines, there are times new challenges are presented, which makes the day more interesting.”

Congratulations to Trevor Rogers on his well-deserved recognition as our Q2 Gamechanger Award recipient. His dedication to the “Bleed Bazooka” core value sets an example for us all.
