Third Quarter Gamechanger: Colton Warth Embodies “Bleed Bazooka”
October 24, 2025

When attention to detail saves the day, that’s what we call living the Bazooka way.
Our “Bleed Bazooka” core value reminds us every day: We work hard and own it. It’s a pride thing. And no one exemplifies this better than our third quarter Gamechanger winner, Colton Warth.
Going Above and Beyond
Colton, who primarily welds hose reels, recently found himself working on a Mantis lagoon pump. Rather than simply following instructions and calling it good, Colton took the initiative to seek out a completed unit in the lot to teach himself how it should look.
That decision made all the difference.
While examining the finished machine, Colton’s trained eye caught something that didn’t match the print he was working from: the cylinder mounts were incorrect. He immediately called it out to Engineering and Quality.
“Thanks to Colton’s attention to detail and not taking things for granted, he saved us from a major mistake,” the recognition committee noted. “That’s what makes him our third quarter Bleed Bazooka Gamechanger.”

The Man Behind the Work
Colton has been with Bazooka Farmstar for about four years, though his journey here wasn’t entirely straight. After starting at Bazooka right out of welding and manufacturing school at Kirkwood, he left briefly for another opportunity. But something kept pulling him back.
“I enjoyed the work, and I no longer wanted that commute,” Colton explained. But more than that, it was the people. “They are fun people to work with and be around.”
When asked how he felt about receiving the award, Colton’s response was genuine: “I was shocked! I was excited too.”
A Culture of Quality
What led to this recognition? For Colton, it comes down to a simple philosophy: “Made sure my work was good and keep on it. Make sure the work is right in terms of quality.”
He doesn’t stop at just one check. “I double-check and triple-check my work. Also get a second pair of eyes to be sure it’s good.”
His advice for others aspiring to win this award? “Keep on it, keep your head down, do the work. Call out if there are any mistakes or questions.”
It’s straightforward wisdom that reflects the heart of what Bleed Bazooka means—taking ownership, maintaining standards, and never settling for “good enough.”
Giving Back
As part of his Gamechanger recognition, Colton selected Stead Family Children’s Hospital as his not-for-profit $100 donation recipient. His reason is deeply personal: “Because I want to help the kids that are there, and research is needed for cancer. I’ve lost an aunt to this, so it’s important to me.”
It’s another example of Colton’s character—someone who cares deeply, pays attention, and takes action when it matters.
Congratulations, Colton Warth, on being our third-quarter Bleed Bazooka Gamechanger. Your dedication to quality and attention to detail didn’t just catch a mistake—it demonstrated exactly what it means to truly Bleed Bazooka.
