In a moment that exemplifies our core value of “Bring It,” Griffin Fraise has been recognized as our Q2 Gamechanger at Bazooka Farmstar. As Final Assembly Lead for Trailers, Griffin’s dedication to exceptional service and attention to detail have proven that standing still is never an option.
A Homecoming Worth Celebrating
Griffin’s journey with Bazooka Farmstar is a testament to the quality of our work environment. Started with Bazooka and then left for a few months, he returned six months ago, drawn back to our team and product line. “I returned to Bazooka because of the work environment and the desire to work with the product line again,” Griffin shares. His passion for “turning wrenches and working with others in the department” keeps him engaged and committed to excellence every day.
Going Above and Beyond
Griffin’s recognition comes after demonstrating remarkable attention to detail that potentially saved the company thousands of dollars. While working to complete an Outlaw trailer on a tight deadline, Griffin noticed something others might have missed—a side auxiliary component that didn’t properly mesh with the engine, despite appearing to fit at first glance.
“The part slid into place, but the gaps in the teeth were not correct,” noted one nominator. “This part fit behind another part, so you had to be a contortionist to see that it did not fit properly.”
Had this issue gone undetected, it would have resulted in significant engine damage and an unusable product for the customer. Griffin’s thoroughness prevented this costly mistake, exemplifying our commitment to quality.
Customer-First Mentality
When informed at 4:05 PM that a customer would be arriving the next day to pick up their Outlaw, Griffin didn’t hesitate. He stayed late that evening and arrived early the following morning to ensure the unit was ready for delivery. This commitment to customer satisfaction demonstrates exactly what “Bring It” means at Bazooka Farmstar.
The Secret to Success
When asked about what led to this recognition, Griffin modestly replied, “Doing my job and doing what you think needs to be done to make everyone successful.” His advice to colleagues aspiring to similar recognition? “Try to be the best you can be in your position.”
Griffin appreciates the recognition, noting that “It was nice to be recognized for doing good. It shows that people appreciate you and keeps you motivated and striving to do great.”
Supporting Our Heroes
As part of his award, Griffin selected Wounded Warriors of Washington as his charity of choice to receive the $100 donation. “I am always wanting to help veterans out and show them my appreciation,” he explains.
