Marketing Product Manager

Position Overview

The Marketing Product Manager oversees and assists in executing all marketing strategies and supporting efforts to promote the Bazooka Farmstar brand and products. This effort is to increase qualified lead generation, customer retention, and other positive client-related outcomes. Bazooka Farmstar's Marketing Product Manager will work closely with other leaders in the organization and should be able to fulfill various duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:

Essential Job Functions

  • Set SMART goals and lead the overall marketing department strategy.
  • Provide metrics that align with department goals and show return on investment with the ability to adjust efforts accordingly if necessary.
  • Provide on-going recommendations to the organizations managing partner and successfully implement new initiatives to go to market, as the market landscape and technologies continue to change to enhance market share.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings, and demographic data to identify market gaps and opportunities with the ability to create a supporting promotional strategy based on findings.
  • Work closely with the engineering and sales teams to track, capture, and funnel qualified leads and to justify product offerings, enhancements, and stakeholder deliverables.
  • Provide guidance for the department and supporting departments, coach, and educate each team member on an on-going basis.
  • Responsible for aspects of asset creation, especially when assistance is necessary with teams' work over-flow. This includes but is not limited to photography, videography, content creation, website editing, and sales support.
  • Assist with the involvement of trade shows and other events, as needed.
  • Other tasks and projects, as assigned.
  • Follow company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field required.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing tools such as CRM systems preferably HubSpot and content management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, content writing, event planning, and graphics creation desired. Demonstrated experience with Adobe Suite programs in tandem with a proven marketing campaign is strongly encouraged.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize projects in a changing and fast-paced work environment.

  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Highly comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
