In a celebration of outstanding dedication and embodiment of core values, Bazooka Farmstar proudly announces Aaron Reid as our 2024 Gamechanger of the Year. As the Bazooka Auger Supervisor & Material Handler, Aaron emerged as the standout choice from an impressive field of 68 nominations spanning 46 individuals across all quarters.
This year’s selection process, marking our fourth annual recognition since the culture initiative’s launch in 2018, identified five exceptional finalists: Julie Glaspie, Lorenzo Marin, Tyler Ousey, Aaron Reid, and Ron Wright. Through peer voting, Aaron Reid’s consistent demonstration of our core values ultimately earned him this prestigious recognition.

He actively encourages his team members to prioritize family needs and life events, demonstrating genuine care for their wellbeing. His community involvement through hunting clubs and the Southeast Iowa Beagle Association, coupled with an active family life of camping and boating, shows his commitment to building strong relationships both inside and outside the workplace.
BLEED BAZOOKA: As one of the first to arrive and last to leave, Aaron has transformed the Bazooka Auger department’s efficiency and on-time delivery performance. His quiet dedication to countless essential tasks keeps operations running smoothly, while his proactive engagement with customer requests and commitment to product improvements showcase his unwavering dedication to company success.
BE SAFE: In his role as a material handler trainer, Aaron sets a high standard for safety. From ensuring proper PPE usage to immediately addressing safety concerns, his commitment to maintaining a safe work environment is unwavering. His approach to safety training and monitoring demonstrates leadership through example.

What truly sets Aaron apart is his ability to maintain a positive attitude while tackling any challenge that comes his way. Even when faced with unexpected role changes in 2024, his approachable demeanor and gracious attitude never wavered. His willingness to help with any task, regardless of its relation to his primary responsibilities, makes him an invaluable team member and leader.
